A new campaign which aims to raise awareness of mental health nursing is being launched to coincide with World Mental Health Day 2018. ‘Mental Health Nursing – One Profession, Many Stories’ is a joint campaign by NHS Tayside and the University of Dundee which aims to raise awareness of the work and experiences of mental health nurses in Tayside. Students create suicide awareness comic to address the stigma of mental health
Students and staff from the University of Dundee have produced a comic to raise awareness of suicide in an attempt to reduce the stigma around mental health. ‘Let’s Talk About Suicide’ will launch on Wednesday 10 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day. Murder from the past to feature in Festival of the Future

Student captures surreal shot of Dundee
University of Dundee Fine Art student Jakub Stepanovic fought through mud and darkness to get a unique photograph from the River Tay. The shot, which depicts the Tay Bridge in Dundee silhouetted at night, was taken from the riverbed at low tide. Galactic mysteries that have puzzled humanity for centuries will be put under the telescope next week, as University of Dundee lecturer Aurora Sicilia-Aguilar takes to the stage.
