A new campaign which aims to raise awareness of mental health nursing is being launched to coincide with World Mental Health Day 2018. ‘Mental Health Nursing – One Profession, Many Stories’ is a joint campaign by NHS Tayside and the University of Dundee which aims to raise awareness of the work and experiences of mental health nurses in Tayside. Students and staff from the University of Dundee have produced a comic to raise awareness of suicide in an attempt to reduce the stigma around mental health. ‘Let’s Talk About Suicide’ will launch on Wednesday 10 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day. Student captures surreal shot of Dundee

University of Dundee Fine Art student Jakub Stepanovic fought through mud and darkness to get a unique photograph from the River Tay. The shot, which depicts the Tay Bridge in Dundee silhouetted at night, was taken from the riverbed at low tide.
