New aerial photographs shed light on dark days for Mont Blanc

In 1919, the Swiss pilot and photographer Walter Mittelholzer flew over Mont Blanc in a biplane photographing the alpine landscape. Award recognises Dundee healthcare expert
Growing human resistance to antibioticsis already costing lives, a leading infection prevention expert has warned. Dr Emma Burnett believes that more must be done to educate the wider public about the inappropriate use of antibiotics and the threat posed to our way of life by antimicrobial resistance, referred to widely as AMR. Dundee Funeral Poverty report calls for action
A major report commissioned by Dundee City Council and the Scottish Government carried out by researchers at the University of Dundee, calls for greater support to bereaved families facing rising funeral debt. The 90-page Funeral Poverty in Dundee: Funeral Link Evaluation, authored by Dr Carlo Morelli and Ruth Bickerton from the University’s School of Business, has identified more than £500,000 of funeral debt forced upon low income families in Dundee. Robot creator heads up Festival tech events
YouTube star James Bruton, whose DIY engineering projects have captivated tens of millions of viewers across the globe, will bring his one man (and robot) show to the University of Dundee later this month.
