Dundee rises among world’s best for international student satisfaction

International students at the University of Dundee have rated their overall satisfaction at over 93 per cent, one of the highest scores in the latest International Student Barometer (ISB). With feedback from over 3 million students worldwide across all student types, levels and years of study, the ISB is the world's largest annual survey of international students. Skilled graduates to be offered new route into teaching

A new route into teaching for highly qualified graduates and career changers specialising in science and technology-related subjects will be run by the University of Dundee and the University of the Highlands and Islands. The universities will work with rural schools in areas of high deprivation to support between 30 and 50 students in qualifying for a Masters-level diploma in teaching. The course, which will run from December 2018 to June 2020, will be open to graduates with a 2:1 honours degree in chemistry, physics, home economics, maths and engineering. The team at LJMU Face Lab have created a ground-breaking new animated facial reconstruction of Robert Burns reciting one of his own poems in collaboration with the Scots poet Rab Wilson, the University of Dundee and Dimensional Imaging (DI4D) in Glasgow.
