A new range of ‘community-designed’ watches will have enthusiasts ticking with pride this month, as a Kickstarter to see it land on wrists goes live. Summer of study bring joys for students
Hundreds of University of Dundee learners had a spring in their step on Friday after completing their path towards higher education. More than 200 attendees of the Access and Online Summer School were honoured after completing the six-and-a-half week programme. £2.1million grant to combat antimicrobial resistance
Researchers at the University of Dundee have been awarded £2.1million in funding to expand their work in the global battle against antimicrobial resistance, one of the major health problems facing the world in the 21st century. Antimicrobial resistance means existing treatments for some infections no longer work, creating an urgent need for new approaches to prevention and treatment. Professor Mark Hector honoured by IAPD
Professor Mark Hector, Dean of the School of Dentistry, has been awarded a prestigious Honorary Membership of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) at its 27th congress in Cancun, Mexico. This is only the 19th time in the 50-year history of the IAPD that it has awarded an Honorary Membership, the highest honour that can be bestowed on a member.
