Tree & A project sees students branch out

A luxury eco treehouse designed in the style of V&A Dundee is set for the grounds of the city’s Taypark House Hotel after a competition win by two Architecture students at the University of Dundee. Subject to planning and approval, the ‘Tree & A’ will be built in the grounds of the four-star hotel over the next year and will offer guests lavish accommodation and stunning views over the River Tay and the University’s Botanic Garden when complete. Alastair MacLennan exhibition to celebrate archive donation

Work spanning the entire career of Alastair MacLennan, one of the UK’s leading live art practitioners, will be exhibited together for the first time at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD) later this month. MacLennan is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone and recently donated his entire archive to his alma mater. Dundee artists and architect among New Contemporaries

Sixteen students who wowed visitors to this year’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and Architecture Degree Show have been chosen to exhibit at Scotland’s most prestigious showcase for young creative talent.
