Keeping Secrets Online – new security threat research announced
Eight projects to address some of the security threats facing the UK have been announced by the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats (CREST). MBE for Professor David Coates
Professor David Coates, of the School of Life Sciences at the University, has been awarded an MBE in HM The Queen’s Birthday Honours List. Professor Coates has been given the award `for services to biology’. Responsible electives raise funds for under-resourced hospitals
Medical students from the University of Dundee have raised tens of thousands of pounds for hospitals in Africa during ‘Responsible Electives’ in Malawi and Zambia. Electives are a period of study in which medical students can learn hands-on experience almost anywhere in the world. Global recognition for Dundee’s Mother and Infant Research Unit
The University of Dundee’s global contribution to research on mother and infant health and midwifery is being recognised with a record representation at the leading conference in the field in Canada next week.
