University staff raise five-figure sum at Bollywood bash.
Staff from the University of Dundee have raised over £14,000 for medical research by hosting a Bollywood Ball in the city. The money raised at the Apex City Quay Hotel on Saturday 4 November will be used to help to fund research for diabetes, cancer, neurology and cardiovascular conditions. Attendees were treated to a three-course meal and entertainment was provided by the Dance Ihayami group from Edinburgh, who had the crowd up dancing like Bollywood stars. Atopic eczema: one size does not fit all
Researchers from the UK and Netherlands have identified five distinct subgroups of eczema, a finding that helps explain how the condition can affect people at different stages of their lives.
