University of Dundee research is the best in the UK at influencing innovation, according to a new report published today. The Nature Index 2017 Innovation supplement sheds new light on the impact academic research is having on innovation by examining how research articles are cited in third-party patents across the world. Dundee ranked in UK’s top 10 for student satisfaction

The University of Dundee is ranked 9th in the UK in the 2017 National Student Survey (NSS), achieving a top 10 place for a second successive year. The University recorded overall satisfaction of 90 per cent, well above the sector average of 84 per cent, and was ranked 2nd in Scotland. UV light treatment offers better outcomes for skin disease sufferers

Routine prescribing of UV light treatment for severe skin conditions could significantly reduce the use of steroid creams and tablets while improving patient outcomes, according to new research from the University of Dundee. Patients who experience the most severe forms of diseases such as psoriasis or eczema find their lives blighted by their conditions. Babies learn from day one, new study shows

Babies have the capacity to learn from social experiences in their first days of life, a new study from Psychology researchers at the University of Dundee has revealed. The study, which involved more than 80 infants, demonstrated that they showed signs of learning from repeated social interactions even in their first two days.
