Tiffany frames designer glasses for Specsavers

A spec-savvy student from the University of Dundee has designed three pairs of gender-neutral glasses for Specsavers. Product Design student Tiffany Bachelet, who had never designed glasses before entering the Specsavers competition, says her collection should satisfy fashionistas of all genders. “I really want my glasses to be for everyone, not gender-specific,” the 22-year-old said. “If you like the glasses, you should wear them and not worry about any social constraints. Award recognises Brian’s sporting contribution

The University of Dundee’s Brian Ewing has won the prestigious A.D. Munrow Award for outstanding contribution to higher education sport. Brian retires on Friday 12 July after 25 years as Director of the University’s Institute of Sport and Exercise (ISE), the day after the award winner is announced. Dundee stages Marketing Team of the Year `heist’

The University of Dundee has been named Marketing Team of the Year at the Heist Awards 2019, the main awards ceremony for marketing in the United Kingdom higher education sector. The award was presented at a ceremony in Manchester last night. Distinguished Scientific Achievement Award for Professor Roland Wolf

Professor Roland Wolf, of the University of Dundee, has been awarded a major international prize recognising his outstanding research impact for over forty years. Professor Wolf will receive the R.T.
