The University of Dundee and Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) have pledged their joint commitment to enhancing student engagement, employability and representation. Jessica Thummel’s unpublished novel The Margins has been announced as the winner of the Dundee International Book Prize 2016. American writer Jessica, who was born in Kansas and now lives in Denver, has been awarded £5000, a publishing deal with Freight Books and a week’s protected writing time in Dundee. New exhibition cites Dundee’s ‘She Town’ as an influence

The University of Dundee will this month play host to the first instalment of a two-chapter exhibition and event programme that takes feminism as its starting point.
