Academic to help Government encourage and support more women into enterprise

A University of Dundee academic will work with the Scottish Government as it attempts to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in Scotland. Dr Norin Arshed, Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University’s School of Business, has been appointed Independent Advisor to Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills. Comic to raise awareness of coeliac disease

The University of Dundee’s renowned comics artists and writers have produced a new publication raising awareness of the serious and much misunderstood autoimmune condition coeliac disease. ‘Understanding Coeliac Disease’ will be launched on Thursday 16 May to mark Coeliac Disease Awareness Week. Dundee’s scientific impact among best in the world

The University of Dundee has been rated among the world’s best universities in terms of the impact of its scientific research in the 2019 CWTS Leiden Rankings. The Leiden rankings are based on research publications data and offer important insights into the scientific performance of nearly 1000 major universities worldwide. They place Dundee at 15th in the world for the highest proportion of highly cited publications.
