Winston Churchill Fellowship to aid understanding of forensic science
A leading forensic anthropologist from the University of Dundee has won a prestigious Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Travel Fellowship to investigate what lessons UK police and courts can learn from other countries. Drag King workshop answers moustached questions about masculinity
The public will have a royal reason to put their best moustache forward this weekend as they are invited to explore masculinity in a Drag King workshop at the University of Dundee. The workshop, led by Lenna Cumberbatch from the University of St. Andrews and hosted by the University of Dundee LGBT+ Staff Network, will take place on Saturday 9 March between 2-4pm. Researcher recognised as emerging star of science
A University of Dundee scientist has been named as the inaugural winner of a new award recognising the UK’s best young researchers in the field of parasitology. Dr Mattie Christine Pawlowic, based at the Wellcome Centre for Anti-Infectives Research (WCAIR) in Dundee’s School of Life Sciences, has won the British Society of Parasitology’s President’s Medal. Students to colour campus with Holi
Image: Mohammed Nadat University of Dundee students are getting ready to colour their campus as they celebrate Holi, the Hindu festival of colours. The celebration, which takes place on Saturday 9th March, is being organised by the University of Dundee Indian Society (UDIS) in collaboration with Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA). Public invited to join ‘hackathon’
Researchers from the University of Dundee are inviting members of the public to help them interpret newly released ballistic and chemical datasets that will ultimately help support a fair and just criminal justice system.
