Winter Graduation 2014

WINTER GRADUATION 2014 The University of Dundee's Winter Graduation takes place on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st November, when around 900 students will be joined by family and friends to celebrate their achievements. Taking place at Caird Hall over three ceremonies, the Graduation will see students spanning a wide range of disciplines receive their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and diplomas. Experts work to combine Scotland's world-class expertise in forensics and imaging

Scotland is home to world-class expertise in forensic science and sensor & imaging systems. Now the two disciplines are to explore how they can work together to provide innovative new tools and techniques that could aid everything from murder investigations to tracing the victims of disasters. Global education programme to tackle antimicrobial resistance

The University of Dundee, working in collaboration with the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC), is set to offer its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) after signing a partnership agreement with the FutureLearn platform.  MOOCs are web-based, free-access learning courses that offer university-level courses. Dundee and BSAC’s first course will be on antimicrobial stewardship – a global education programme for healthcare professionals. Local entrepreneurs aim to inspire at TEG Talks 2014

The Enterprise Gym (TEG) at the University of Dundee will next week once again aim to inspire the next generation of business tycoons with their take on the hugely popular TED Talks. University to honour Ann Gloag and Professor Nicholas Hastie

The University of Dundee will next week award honorary degrees to the businesswoman and charity campaigner Ann Gloag OBE and Professor Nick Hastie, one of the UK’s leading researchers in the life sciences.
