The tale of two penguins that came to reside in Dundee will be told at a Café Science Summer Special event next week. The D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum at the University of Dundee holds two penguin specimens that each has extraordinary stories to tell, connecting Dundee’s whaling industry with pioneering Antarctic exploration. University to help mark centenary of WWI at major BBC event

The University of Dundee will be heavily represented when the BBC World War One At Home Tour reaches the city later this week. The BBC is working alongside the Great War Dundee (GWD) Partnership, Dundee City Council and Leisure & Culture Dundee to deliver a free, family friendly commemorative event at the City Square on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August. Wild Angus fundraisers boost for Ninewells Cancer Campaign

Walking pals 'Wild Angus' have celebrated the climax of a year's fundraising by handing over a cheque for £14,125 plus £2,965 worth of Gift Aid to Ninewells Cancer Campaign. Starry sponsorship deal for School of Business

The University of Dundee’s School of Business will help bring an extra Star to the city after signing an innovative sponsorship deal with the local ice hockey team Dundee CCS Stars.
