Prestigious Wolfson Research Merit Award for Professor Claire Halpin
University of Dundee scientist Professor Claire Halpin has been appointed one of 21 new Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award holders. The prestigious award provides five-year's support for outstanding scientists to help them continue their ground-breaking work. Art ACES from local schools to exhibit at DJCAD
Photo opportunity: 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday, 30th January at Bradshaw Art Space, Crawford Building, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Interdisciplinary team to transform understandings of home and wellbeing
Ways of enhancing individual and community wellbeing through the concept of home will be explored by an interdisciplinary team from across Scotland led by the Universities of Dundee and Stirling. Former Director of the Parliamentary Archives Dr Caroline Shenton will recount the day Parliament burned down at the first event in the University of Dundee's 2014 Saturday Evening Lecture Series.
