Studio Jamming: Artists' Collaborations in Scotland

Cooper Gallery at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD) will later this month present a major new exhibition that takes its cue from the live improvised excitement of musical jamming to celebrate collaborative art. Studio Jamming: Artists' Collaborations in Scotland is part of GENERATION; 25 Years of Contemporary Art in Scotland and the Glasgow 2014 Culture Programme. Artist to sign off on residency with ‘Interactions’

American visual artist Ellen K Levy will next week mark the culmination of a residency at the University of Dundee by discussing her practice and how she was influenced by D’Arcy Thompson, Dundee’s first Professor of Biology. Ellen’s work explores biological science through mixed-media installations, forums, curatorial projects and writing. Campaigner to discuss state surveillance of individuals

A high-profile civil liberties campaigner will next week visit the University of Dundee to discuss the implications of Edward Snowden’s revelations about the extent of state surveillance into the lives of ordinary citizens.
