Protagonist v Antagonist – Scottish Heroes & Villains Month event
The conflict between the protagonist and antagonist in literature and history will be explored at the next event taking place as part of Scottish Heroes & Villains Month at the University of Dundee. Professor Graeme Morton, Director of the University’s Centre for Scottish Culture, will lead the symposium, which will be held at the Baxter Suite, Tower Building, from 10am on Saturday, 11th October. Niamh Nic Daeid appointed Professor of Forensic Science at Dundee
Niamh Nic Daeid, one of the UK’s leading researchers in forensic science, has been appointed Professor of Forensic Science at the University of Dundee. Professor Nic Daeid joins Dundee from the University of Strathclyde, where she has been based for the past 20 years. Best-selling author to wow Dundee audience
Jung Chang, who has sold more than 15 million books worldwide, will talk about her career and new book next week at a special event jointly hosted by Dundee Literary Festival and the Saturday Evening Lecture Series (SELS).
