‘Solar Max’ – mysteries of the Sun to be revealed
Sky at Night presenter Lucie Green will next week visit the University of Dundee to reveal some of the mysteries of the Sun, such as what solar flares and sunquakes are, and what they mean for us. The best writers in the world, in Dundee once again
The 2014 Dundee Literary Festival will once again bring some of the world’s best writers to the city for a packed programme of events that celebrate the written word in all its forms. James Naughtie, Viv Albertine and Michel Faber are just some of the big names appearing at this year’s Festival, which takes place from 22nd to 26th October. Dundee-India partnership to create Drug Discovery Unit in Bangalore
The University of Dundee has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bangalore BioCluster in India with the aim of creating a joint Drug Discovery Centre to tackle antimicrobial resistance. There is already an active programme of scientific collaboration between Dundee and the Bangalore BioCluster.
