BBC seeks expert advice from Scottish historians
History researchers at the University of Dundee and Edinburgh Napier University have been selected as national academic experts for the BBC as part of the broadcaster's World War One at Home project. Dr Derek Patrick and Dr Billy Kenefick, who were instrumental in setting up the Great War Dundee Commemorative Project 2014-2019, and Professor Alistair McCleery, from Edinburgh Napier University, will make up a three-strong team of academic advisers in Scotland. Prestigious Wolfson Research Merit Award for Professor Claire Halpin
University of Dundee scientist Professor Claire Halpin has been appointed one of 21 new Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award holders. The prestigious award provides five-year's support for outstanding scientists to help them continue their ground-breaking work. Art ACES from local schools to exhibit at DJCAD

Interdisciplinary team to transform understandings of home and wellbeing
Ways of enhancing individual and community wellbeing through the concept of home will be explored by an interdisciplinary team from across Scotland led by the Universities of Dundee and Stirling.
