Professor Paul Harris named Dean of DJCAD
Professor Paul Harris has been appointed Dean of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), part of the University of Dundee. Prior to taking up the post, Professor Harris was Head of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and a passion for creative clusters, cultural economics and cultural regeneration. ‘Mouth Matters’ – better oral care for offenders
The oral health of prisoners and young offenders in Scotland is worse than that of the general population. Now a new guide has been launched which aims to help significantly improve `Mouth Matters’ for the prison population. Michael Matheson, Minister for Public Health, will launch the `Mouth Matters’ guide for trainers on Tuesday, 12th August. The `Mouth Matters’ project will offer better oral care for offenders and help address their oral health and psychosocial needs. Visions of Discovery scientific image exhibition goes on tour
The Visions of Discovery exhibition, featuring fascinating images that reflect the ground-breaking biomedical research being undertaken at the University of Dundee, will go on display at venues in London and Cambridge later this month.
