Dundee named among Europe’s top 100 universities
The University of Dundee has been placed within Europe’s top 100 universities in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education European University Rankings. Dundee was ranked 94th in the table, which measured institutions on their teaching environment, research environment, citations (research influence), industry income and international outlook. The ranking is drawn from data used to compile the THE World University Rankings, using the same 13 performance indicators as in the overall rankings methodology. Legendary artist to launch new course in comics and graphic novels
Cam Kennedy, the legendary Judge Dredd and Star Wars artist, will tomorrow help launch a new postgraduate programme for aspiring comics artists, writers and scholars at the University of Dundee. The new MLitt/MDes Comics and Graphic Novels course will be officially unveiled at a series of workshops at Dundee Comics Creative Space (DCCS) on Thursday, 10th March. First Minister praises Dundee-China art collaboration
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has praised the University of Dundee’s Cooper Gallery for enhancing Scotland’s standing in the world of contemporary art and helping create cultural exchanges with China. ‘NEW Wheat, NEW Mud, NEW Machine’, a major new exhibition from Glasgow-based artists’ group Poster Club will open at the Cooper Gallery with a Preview Evening on Thursday. Collaboration to develop new treatments for tuberculosis
