‘Silent Signal’ – a new exhibition to open at LifeSpace
An exhibition that combines animation with science will go on display at the University of Dundee this week. ‘Silent Signal’ will open at LifeSpace Science Art Research Gallery at the School of Life Sciences on Thursday, 29th September and will feature six experimental animations that explore new ways of thinking about the human body. Research reveals genetic mutations driving skin cancer
A research collaboration led by the University of Dundee and the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute has uncovered a common underlying cause in many cases of one of the most widespread forms of skin cancer. The rate of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC), a potentially devastating form of the disease, is rapidly rising and has more than doubled in Scotland over the last 20 years.
