Medical and healthcare students report high levels of abuse and breaches of patient safety and dignity

A survey of almost 4000 medical and healthcare students from across the United Kingdom has found that more than half of those questioned indicated that they had witnessed clinicians breaching patient dignity or safety during the past year. Similar numbers also reported witnessing the abuse of workplace colleagues - with over 75 per cent reporting being victims of abuse themselves. Dundee on the rise in Guardian league tables

The University of Dundee is among the fastest risers in the 2016 Guardian University Rankings, released today. Dundee is placed 38th in this year’s rankings, up nine places from 47th last year. The ranking reflects strong student satisfaction scores at the University, which has been consistently rated as offering the best student experience in Scotland. Residency offers support for graduating artists and designers

Exhibitors at this year’s Dundee Art, Design and Architecture Degree Show will have the chance to compete for a lucrative residency at the University of Dundee. The Degree Show, which celebrates the success of graduating students from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design and the department of Architecture, takes place from 22nd to 31st May. Alison’s Degree Show plans to put Blairgowrie pupils outside

Pupils at Blairgowrie High School could have a new outdoor space for performance, teaching and meetings if designs by a University of Dundee student come to fruition. Alison Taylor, who is about to graduate with a degree in Interior Environmental Design, has been working with staff and pupils at the school to turn a disused space on the school grounds into a multi-purpose venue.
