‘Understanding Teenage Mental Health’ – Café Science Extra on 10th June

PhD students head to Summer School
International postgraduate students exploring security and justice in Europe will next week visit the University of Dundee for an week of intensive research. Dundee experts recreate face of Saxon man at Lincoln Castle
Facial reconstruction experts at the University of Dundee have recreated the face of a Saxon man whose skeleton was discovered on the site of an old church at Lincoln Castle. On Monday 8th June, the new-look castle will be officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal. On that day, a new exhibition will be revealed in the Victorian Prison, sharing some of the archaeological finds unearthed during the Lincoln Castle Revealed project. Dundee shares in new arts research funding
Three University of Dundee projects, looking at whaling, rural planning and 18th century reading habits, will share in a new £380,000 round of arts research funding. The funding comes from Applied Research Collaboration Studentships (ARCS), supported by the Scottish Funding Council and universities themselves. Seven projects across Scotland have been granted £54,000 each under the ARCS initiative. The funding covers two joint projects with the University of Stirling.
