Dundee students bring fresh insights to improving NHS outpatient care

Five design students from the University of Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design have been attending an exclusive two-day event in Edinburgh focusing on revolutionising the outpatient experience in NHS Scotland with the support of digital technology. This is the result of a pilot initiative between the college and the Digital Health Institute (DHI) to involve students in one of their innovation calls and benefit from their fresh thinking. DUSA TV named NaSTA Best Broadcaster

Dundee University Students’ Association’s DUSA TV has been crowned Best Broadcaster of 2015 at the 42nd National Student Television Association (NaSTA) awards conference in Preston.  Up against 44 other stations, DUSA TV won the most prestigious award of the conference, recognising it for the standard of content produced over the past year. The University of Dundee’s D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum will open to the public over the Easter weekend, with a particular focus on family visits in light of its recent accreditation as a learning destination for the Children’s University. Anthology Five to be launched at DeeCon

Anthology Five, the newest collection of work by comics studies students at the University of Dundee, will be launched this weekend at Dee-Con, Scotland’s largest free anime and comics convention. DeeCon 2015 will be held at Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) on Saturday, 4th April, with doors opening at 12pm. Voters offered payment to give their views

Citizens eligible to vote in the UK 2015 General Election have been invited to take part in University of Dundee research that will take a `snapshot’ of people’s election campaign views. Participants from Dundee and the surrounding areas will receive £40 for taking part in the session on Thursday, 2nd April if they are selected to take part.
