Global recognition for Dundee’s Mother and Infant Research Unit
The University of Dundee’s global contribution to research on mother and infant health and midwifery is being recognised with a record representation at the leading conference in the field in Canada next week. The University of Dundee’s Professor Tracy Palmer has been elected as a member of one of the world’s most prestigious scientific organisations. Principal’s Challenge raises over £15,000 – and counting!
University of Dundee staff – led by Principal Professor Sir Pete Downes and his wife Elizabeth – have raised over £15,000 through the Principal’s Challenge 2017, held as part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations. More than 100 staff joined the final part of the Challenge on Wednesday June 14th, a run from the Medical School campus at Ninewells to Campus Green. ‘Foot in the door’ in precision medicine for oesophageal cancer
Scientists at the Universities of Dundee and Aberdeen have established a `foot in the door’ in finding new, precision treatments for patients with oesophageal cancer, one of the hardest forms of the disease to treat. Yogesh Kulathu awarded Lister Research Prize Fellowship
The University of Dundee’s Dr Yogesh Kulathu has received a coveted £200,000 prize after being identified as one of the brightest emerging stars in the field of biomedical research.
