Careers Service rated amongst country’s best
Students at the University of Dundee have ranked their Careers Service as among the best in the UK. Dundee came 3rd in the Career Services 2017 Awards operated by StudentCrowd, an online platform for students to review all aspects of their university experience. More than 7,000 students from across the UK were surveyed over the past year. The University’s Careers Service offers a range of employability modules which students can take alongside their degree subjects. Centenary celebrations for seminal ‘On Growth and Form’
The University of Dundee will pay tribute to the hugely influential biologist and mathematician D’Arcy Thompson with a packed programme of events celebrating the 100th anniversary of his seminal book, ‘On Growth and Form’. The book has inspired scientists, artists and thinkers as diverse as Alan Turing, Richard Dawkins and Claude Lévi Strauss. Dundee joins £2.85m PhD scheme to tackle AMR

Fellowship honour for Professor Annalu Waller
A University of Dundee computer scientist who has dedicated her career to helping people with complex communication needs connect with the world around them has been honoured for her work.
