£80,000 prize for ‘My Diabetes My Way’
A University of Dundee project that enables diabetics to self-manage their condition has been awarded £80,000 in a competition aiming to identify Scotland’s most innovative entrepreneurial talent. ‘My Diabetes My Way’ is an online platform which allows people with diabetes across Scotland to access their medical records online, support their self-management and improve their knowledge of their condition. Homeless charity to use student’s dissertation to help vulnerable people
The dissertation of a University of Dundee Community Learning and Development student could soon be used to help improve the lives of vulnerable drug users. 43-year-old Adalaine Bryson will collect her degree on Friday, 23rd June. In her final year, she explored the experiences and views of adults accessing a community hub to address their drug misuse. Dundee student battles the odds for scholarship to New York
A University of Dundee student has won a prestigious scholarship that will take her to the United States. Rachel Main, 23, who will receive a first class honours degree in English and Film Studies on Friday, 23rd June, is one of just two students to be awarded the annual St Andrew’s Society of the State of New York Scholarship.
