Dundee and NUS partner for new joint degree programme
The University of Dundee and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have established a new partnership which will see students share their study time between Scotland and Singapore and earn a degree from both institutions. NUS and Dundee are both globally prominent in the field of life sciences and offer top-quality teaching and excellent student experience. Computing Degree Show 2018
Digital pioneers from the University of Dundee will be showcasing their innovative and thought-provoking work at the Computing Degree Show 2018 today. Plant scientist awarded Massalski research prize
A plant scientist from the University of Dundee has been awarded the prestigious Peter Massalski Prize for Meritorious Research for 2018. Dr Cristiane Calixto is a post-doctoral researcher in the Plant Sciences Division of the University’s School of Life Sciences, based at the James Hutton Institute. Her work focuses on understanding how plant gene expression is regulated, and on using molecular and computational approaches to analyse crop stress responses. Hallmark of success for Textile Design student
While preparing to celebrate at her final degree show this month, a Textile Design student at the University of Dundee has created a celebratory birthday card for Hallmark’s customers. Laura Collins, originally from Kirkcaldy, entered the University of Dundee through the foundation programme. Dundee pupils `Powering Transformation’
Hundreds of secondary school pupils from across Dundee are `Powering Transformation’ at the University of Dundee this week with the help of the Transformation Trust. Students from five schools – Braeview Academy, Baldragon Academy, St Paul’s RC Academy, Harris Academy and Morgan Academy – have been taking part in the Powering Transformation workshop, developed by the Transformation Trust and supported by Dell.
