Male contraceptive quest boosted by funding from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
The quest of researchers at the University of Dundee to develop a new male contraceptive has been boosted with a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Researchers say the $900,000-plus award will enable significant progress to be made over the next two years in the discovery and development of the first safe and effective male contraceptive drug. Social Bite founder calls on Dundonians to help end homelessness
One of Scotland’s leading philanthropists hopes to harness the Christmas spirit to mobilise Dundonians in the fight against homelessness. Graduate poised to pen a name for himself
A University of Dundee graduate is attempting to make his mark on the pages of history next month as he aims to develop a whole new kind of fountain pen. New exhibition celebrates photographers with Aphasia
A new exhibition of photographs, taken and edited on iPads, by people living with Aphasia will go on display at the University of Dundee this week. The exhibition called ‘Tap & Talk & See’ celebrates the creativity of people living with the complex language and communication disorder resulting from damage to the language centres of the brain. University welcomes Tay Cities Deal announcement
A £40 million investment in two University of Dundee projects from the UK and Scottish Governments will create jobs and attract further investment.
