Bridging the Policy/Practice Divide
4th March 2014 River Room 2, Tower Building Univ. of Dundee, DD1 4HN
A seminar and networking lunch hosted by the University’s Geddes Institute for Urban Research and the Centre for Environmental Change and Human Resilience (CECHR). The format is short high impact presentations from three leading practitioners followed by a facilitated discussion. The underlying theme is new approaches to characterizing and measuring change within urban environments, particularly in the use of indicators, to promote and measure transformation towards sustainable low carbon cities. This necessarily draws together challenges around adaptation for great climate change resilience. Examples span European, national and local scales and the session will appeal to all with interdisciplinary interests. All welcome.
