Architectural History in Practice

Tuesday 27 May 6 – 8pm

A Planning Aid Scotland event in conjunction with 50 years of planning education at Dundee

Tom Parnell, Architectural Historian with Simpson & Brown (a conservation architecture practice), will talk about how he helps inform architects and clients in developing designs and supporting planning applications.

This visually-based presentation will look at the tools available for research into the historic built environment; discuss case-studies and the documents produced (such as conservation plans and statements); and examine what can/should be expected of applications relating to historic buildings.
