Former Kuwaiti health minister to give first international horizons lecture at Dundee
Dr Hilal Al-Sayer, Kuwait’s former Minister for Health, will give the first International Horizons lecture at the University of Dundee’s College of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing on Wednesday March 19th. Dr Al-Sayer is a distinguished surgeon and healthcare leader who was Dean of Medicine at Kuwait University before heading the country’s Ministry of Health. Dundee University Students' Association organises Scotland's largest St Patrick's Day Party
The award winning Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) can now add another accolade to the list of awards it has received over the last three years. With St Patrick’s Day falling on a Monday this year, DUSA has found itself hosting Scotland’s biggest St Patrick’s party at The Union today. Cabinet of Curiosity to open at University
A ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’ will be opened this week when highlights from the Tayside Medical History Museum go on display at the University of Dundee’s Lamb Gallery. Opening on Wednesday, 19th March, the exhibition features dozens of items from one of the most outstanding medical collections in Scotland. The Tayside Medical History Museum includes material from Dundee Royal Infirmary, Royal Dundee Liff Hospital, Ninewells Hospital and Sunnyside Hospital among others.
