Arctic expedition for artist Ellis

University of Dundee student Ellis O’Connor will boldly go where few people – and fewer artists – have gone before after being selected for a month-long residency in the Arctic. Ellis (23) graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, part of the University, last year and recently won the RSA Landscape Award at the prestigious New Contemporaries exhibition in Edinburgh. Transforming the health of mothers and babies through research

The University of Dundee’s Mother and Infant Research Unit will next month celebrate how  research in midwifery and maternity care is improving the care of women and babies globally, with a particular focus on Scotland’s contribution. ‘Mary Slessor and the Scottish Mission’ – Saturday, 18th April

As part of the Mary Slessor Centenary events, writer and broadcaster Billy Kay will give an illustrated lecture on ‘Mary Slessor and the Scottish Mission’ at the University of Dundee this Saturday. Candidates to be grilled during University debate

Students from the University of Dundee will next week welcome some of the city’s Westminster candidates for a debate on the biggest election issues.
