Volunteering Fair 2014

More than 80 organisations, ranging from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) to the Scottish Football Association (SFA), will be exhibiting at the University of Dundee's annual Volunteering Fair this month. The event will take place at Bonar Hall from 11am-3pm on Wednesday, 19th February. Dozens of organisations and groups will be attending the event with the aim of promoting the range of volunteering, work experience and summer work opportunities to students, staff and graduates. Sunday League reunion brings back memories of halcyon days

The limits of human endurance and the price paid by those determined to push the boundaries of mental and physical possibilities will be explored during the next Saturday Evening Lecture at the University of Dundee. Cafe Science Extra to hear about the possibilities of 'Wonderful Wetlands'

The possibility of using wetland resources to harvest low-cost renewable energy will be discussed at the next Cafe Science Extra event scheduled for Dundee. Dr Kiran Tota-Maharaj, from Abertay University, will describe how we can access a sustainable energy source by creating constructed wetlands and integrating water-sourced heat pumps into them. Dundee Student Council working to banish payday lenders from city campuses

Representatives from both Dundee University Students' Association (DUSA) and University of Abertay Dundee Students' Association (UADSA) met recently and agreed to work together to ensure that students across the city will never again see payday lenders on their campus.
