Knee pain research extended to fife

Volunteers sought for study A research study about knee arthritis has now been extended to the kingdom of Fife. Older people living with knee pain and osteoarthritis are being asked to join a research study hoping to find a safer treatment for reducing pain and improving quality of life. Rotary offer £1000 boost to Dundee women's aid 40th anniversary

Cheque presentation 12.45pm Friday 28th February, Dundee Women's Aid office, Enterprise House, 45 North Lindsay Street The Rotary Club of Dundee has made a donation of £1000 to Dundee Women's Aid as the latter celebrate their 40th anniversary. DWA have set a target of raising £40,000 over the course of their anniversary year and the Rotary donation has helped them get off to a great start. Students contribute to GIDE to feeding the planet

Interior Environmental Design students from the University of Dundee will next week travel to Belgium to take part in an international symposium exploring design, urbanism and sustainability and how the three can combine to feed the planet. Third-year students from the BDes (Hons) Interior Environmental Design programme at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), part of the University, will be taking part in GIDE 2014 in Mechelen from February 24th-28th. DJCAD students launch takeover to exhibit work

A group of final-year students from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) will this weekend take a Dundee gallery over for an exhibition demonstrating what they have learned during their studies. Great War Dundee project wins CASS Public Engagement Award

The leading role played by two University of Dundee historians in commemorating World War I locally has seen them named as winners of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) Public Engagement Award for 2013-14.
