‘Stop Brushing Your Teeth – Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas’ on 17th March
Received wisdom will be challenged and questioned next week at an event taking place as part of the 2015 Women In Science Festival. ‘Stop Brushing Your Teeth – Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas’ takes place at Braes, Perth Road, Dundee on Tuesday, 17th March and will be hosted by professional comedian Susan Morrison. Midwives4all builds on pioneering Dundee work
An international initiative to spread knowledge about the benefits of midwives and evidence-based midwifery will be launched next week, building on pioneering work from the University of Dundee. Midwives4all is an initiative of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. It follows on from a major Lancet series on midwifery which was co-authored by Professor Mary Renfrew from the University of Dundee last year. Dundee to Host 2015 Qualitative Election Study of Britain
Researchers at the University of Dundee and GESIS-Liebniz Institute in Cologne, Germany are working intensively with voters to identify the issues, personalities and other factors that will decide this year’s General Election. ‘Symbiosis’ – art exhibition explores experiences of Women in Science
An exhibition of artwork celebrating the scientific achievements of women opens in Dundee on Friday, 13th March. ‘Symbiosis’ is a unique exploration of the fusion of science and art, and is taking place at Tin Roof Collective, Bellfield Street. Dundee expands world-leading forensic & medical art offering
The University of Dundee’s world-renowned expertise in forensic and medical art is being further developed with the creation of a range of pioneering new courses.
