Scientists led by a group at the University of Dundee have made a significant discovery about how our cells properly inherit their genetic information. Perception of Biology – new exhibition at D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum
A new exhibition of college students’ work inspired by the fascinating and unique 130 year-old collection at the University of Dundee’s D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum will open tomorrow. The 12 students from the HND Contemporary Art course at Perth College (University of the Highlands and Islands) have worked intensively over a four-week period to present their response to the museum, taking influence from historical and visual aspects of the collection as well as responding instinctively to it. Comics enthusiasts show ‘The Spirit of Scotland’
The most famous characters in Scottish comics are to appear together in the ‘Spirit of Scotland’ strip –assembled in only one day at the University of Dundee. Construction work starts on V&A Museum of Design Dundee
A “ground-breaking” ceremony on the V&A Museum of Design Dundee’s waterfront site marked the formal start of construction work today on Thursday March 5th.
