Deputy First Minister to discuss innovation and entrepreneurship on stream
Deputy First Minister John Swinney MSP will be discussing innovation and entrepreneurship next week at an event that will be streamed live at the University of Dundee. The talk, organised by Informatics Ventures, will be screened at the Dalhousie Building, Old Hawkhill, from 6-8.30pm on Tuesday, 24th March. LIVE:iVTuesday will see Mr Swinney address a large crowd in several venues across the country about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship to Scotland’s economy. Dundee nominated in Whatuni Student Choice Awards
The University of Dundee has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2015 Whatuni Student Choice Awards. Over the past year, more than 20,000 students across the UK have cast their opinions for the next Whatuni Student Rankings. The rankings are based on averages taken from thousands of reviews submitted by students and, with the results now having been tallied, Dundee is in the running for two awards – Clubs & Societies and Student Union. Scotland’s superhero to return at DeeCon 2015
Saltire, Scotland’s superhero, will make his return in a sequel to the acclaimed debut to be launched at DeeCon 2015, the country’s biggest free anime, animation and art convention.
