Generous DJCAD students and visitors raise cash to help Glasgow peers
Students from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) have shown solidarity with their stricken peers in Glasgow by raising almost £900 for those affected by the blaze that engulfed one of Scotland’s most-loved buildings last month. DJCAD graduates selected for “best of the best” exhibition
Two Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) graduates have been selected for a new exhibition showcasing the best young artists to emerge in Scotland over the past six years. Stuart McAdam, who graduated in 2008, and Jonny Lyons, a member of the class of 2013, will show exhibit at Open Dialogues, which opens at the Royal Scottish Academy of Art & Architecture in Edinburgh on 28th June. Danny Wallace to discuss his books and career ahead of Graduation
Award-winning filmmaker, comedian, writer, actor, and broadcaster Danny Wallace will next week discuss his career and latest novel Who is Tom Ditto? at the University of Dundee. The revolution in digital technology which many of us take for granted, including access to devices such as smartphones and iPads, has largely excluded many people with conditions like aphasia, which is a difficulty understanding and using language.
