DJCAD students’ work on transatlantic journey for exhibition
Seventeen students and graduates from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD) are showcasing their work on the international stage at a group exhibition in the United States. The group, from the MFA Art & Humanities programme at DJCAD, part of the University of Dundee, have contributed work for the ‘Trans-send’ exhibition at Towson University in Maryland. The show takes place from 8th July – 9th August in conjunction with a city-wide Arts festival in neighbouring Baltimore. DJCAD graduates celebrating exhibition successes
The exhibition season for young designers is proving a happy hunting ground for graduates from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, who have picked up seven major awards at the New Designers and D&AD New Blood events in London. Exhibitions such as these are visited by tens of thousands of people each year, including some of the important and influential figures in the design industry. Research reveals how key controller protein is switched on
New research has uncovered how a complex protein pivotal in the development of cancer, viral infection and autoimmune diseases is activated. The discovery answers a key question about one of the most widely-researched proteins in human biology, which has been the subject of tens of thousands of research papers and millions of pounds in research funding.
