'The Defence of an Independent Scotland' - AHRI Lecture on 15th January
The challenges of defending an independent Scotland in the event of a 'yes' vote in this year's referendum will be explored at a public lecture at the University of Dundee next week. Esteemed military historian Professor Sir Hew Strachan will talk about the subject at the D'Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre, Tower Building, at 6pm on Wednesday, 15th January. CBE for Professor Doreen Cantrell
Professor Doreen Cantrell, Vice-Principal and Head of the College of Life Sciences at the University of Dundee, has been awarded a CBE in the 2014 New Year Honours.
