Tayside and fife volunteers wanted for falls study
A University of Dundee study looking to develop a fresh approach to reducing falls among people in old age is seeking volunteers in Tayside and Fife. Old Steeple provides birds eye view of buildings set to open doors
The organisers of one of Dundee’s biggest annual community celebrations will next week climb to the top of one of Dundee’s best-known landmarks for a panoramic view of the dozens of building set to open their doors to the public in September. Doors Open Days 2014 takes place on the weekend of 13th and 14th September. Scientific and cultural heritage heralded at conference
Dundee’s scientific and cultural contribution will be invoked at a major international conference held in the city this month. From Monday 11th to Friday, 15th August, the Scottish Word and Image Group (SWIG) at the University of Dundee will be hosting the Triennial Conference of the International Association of Word and Image Studies (IAWIS/AIERTI).
