Stuart Gulliver is professor of City Development at the University of Glasgow, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and an internationally recognised practitioner of distinction. He has made a major contribution towards the regeneration of cities and their economies across Scotland and, most significantly, towards the transformation of Glasgow over the past 20 years as Chief Executive of Glasgow Development Agency - "the most spectacular turnaround city in the UK" (F.T 1999). Of particular note, when working with the Scottish Development Agency Stuart was a key player in the creation of the Dundee Task Force which in the 1980's was Dundee's first public sector partnership and initiated the renewal of the city's economy
