‘CHEERS!’ TO DUNDEE SCIENCE FESTIVAL
Dundee Science Festival organisers clinked glasses today to toast the launch of the biggest event in its five year history. The festival, which will run from Saturday 1 until Sunday 16 November 2014, is a two-week city-wide celebration of science, providing fun, entertainment, inspiration and curiosity for all ages. With a new ‘personality’, the festival will host a staggering 112 events this year, twice as many as last year. Tackling poverty and malnutrition in India
A guest lecturer at the University of Dundee’s Centre for Environmental Change and Human Resilience (CECHR) will next week discuss poverty and malnutrition in areas of India where an abundance of natural resources mean they should not exist. ‘Robert McGilvray: Time/Tide - Moments from Places’ – exhibition at University of Dundee

Putting a kink into the cell's key genetic molecule
Scientists at the University of Dundee have discovered a hidden `code’ that tells our bodies key genetic molecules how to structure themselves, thereby allowing them to carry out their work.
