University ask prospective students to `#TestDriveDundee'

The University of Dundee has already been rated best in Scotland and the UK for student experience. Now the University is asking five people to sample student life for themselves and `test drive’ Dundee.

Prospective students from across the UK were invited to apply to become a test driver, with the offer of an iPad Air and Canon Powershot camera to capture their experiences and relay them to the world through social media through the hashtag #TestDriveDundee

20 candidates have now been selected with a public vote to determine which five people will get to come for two all-expenses paid days at University.

“The students who are already at Dundee have consistently voted us among the very best in the UK for the experience we offer,” said Stephen Decent, Vice-Principal of the University.

“We want to give prospective students a taste of student life beyond our visit days and open days, and so we are inviting five people here to `testdrivedundee’.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to really see what life is like at University. Of course, we hope that they will enjoy it so much they will look to come here on a more permanent basis and spread the word of how good Dundee is and what it has to offer.”
