The talk will focus on the current working environment within the performing and creative arts, the opportunities this affords graduates and practitioners, and where to look for sources of financial support. The talk with be followed by a Q&A session.
'Laura brings with her a couple of decades of experience in working in the creative industries in Scotland and, as such, she is ideally placed to offer advice to students and graduates,' said event organiser Dr Gail Low.
'She will be talking about training opportunities for creative professionals and, although her specialist field is theatre, she has agreed to address other art and media forms as well. This is a great chance to hear about grants, development opportunities, and pathways to employment open to people with arts degrees.'

She worked with the producers of a number of shows which were launched during the Fringe, taking them on to gain international recognition.
