Professor Chris Whatley receives OBE

Chris Whatley, Professor of Scottish History and former Vice-Principal of the University of Dundee, today received an OBE at a ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. Professor Whatley was awarded the OBE in the New Year’s Honours list for his services to Scottish history education. “I am delighted and it is great news for the University as well,” said Professor Whatley on the announcement of the OBE. Scotland’s design graduates lead the field

Scotland’s role in the forefront of innovation and creativity has been underlined by half of this year’s New Design Awards, the UK’s biggest showcase for young designers, being won by graduates of its Higher Education institutions.
