Minister helps to launch new Graduate Apprenticeships
Joe Fitzpatrick, MSP for Dundee West and Minister for Parliamentary Business, helped launch new Graduate Apprenticeship courses at the University of Dundee when he visited campus today. Applications are now open for a total of six Graduate Apprenticeship programmes at Dundee. Mr Fitzpatrick visited the University’s Queen Mother Building to meet with Graduate Apprentices on existing programmes. Students to give staff the third degree
Staff and students from the University of Dundee will go head to head this month during a live recording of BBC Radio 4’s ‘The 3rd Degree’ hosted by comedian Steve Punt. Two teams of three will flex their mental muscles in front of a live audience on Friday 23 March at the D’Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre in the University’s Tower Building. 'Virtual Reality: The Future Is Now’ – Café Science on 12 February
An expert from the University of Dundee will discuss the science behind virtual reality and augmented reality and explore what the future holds for these technologies at a Café Science event next week. Lord Provost becomes 200,000th SHARE signatory at celebration of global diabetes partnership
Lord Provost of Dundee Ian Borthwick will next week become the 200,000th signatory to a unique database helping researchers to carry out ground-breaking medical research. He will sign up for the Scottish Health Research Register (SHARE) when he welcomes the world-renowned diabetes researcher Dr V Mohan to the city on Monday 12 March to discuss a major new Scotland-India clinical partnership to combat diabetes.
