Giant Clydesdale ready to rock Degree Show crowds
An 8 ½ foot-tall, 47-stone steel rocking horse depicting oppression and class tension within Scotland is one of the star exhibits at this year’s University of Dundee Art, Design and Architecture Degree Show. The giant Clydesdale was created by Ulrika Kjeldsen, a final-year student at the University’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, for the exhibition. New Code of Practice for investigators of fire and explosions
A new code of practice for the investigation of fires and explosions within the criminal justice system was launched today, May 16th 2017. The new Code of Practice is supported by the National Fire Chiefs Council, the Institution of Fire Engineers and the UK Association of Fire Investigators, the three leading organisations representing the profession across the UK. University of Dundee gets ready to welcome back its Alumni
Hundreds of graduates of the University of Dundee will return to the city from all over the world this weekend to join celebrations marking the University’s 50th anniversary. Former students, and their families from as far afield as Australia and the USA will be flooding back to the campus where many of them started their academic careers. Dundee continues climb in Guardian University Guide
The University of Dundee has continued its climb in prestigious national league tables after being ranked 24th in the UK in the Guardian University Guide 2018, topping the table in Dentistry and Design & Crafts. This result represents a rise of four places on last year’s rankings, meaning Dundee has jumped 23 places since 2015. The University is now ranked 3rd in Scotland having overtaken Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt in this year’s Guardian table.
